Safety First

Molecule is a calculator and a logbook. It does not recommend compounds or protocols, and it is not medical advice. Always verify a dose independently before drawing or administering anything. A mistyped vial size or a misplaced decimal produces a confident and wrong answer.

The Calculator

Enter the vial size in milligrams, the volume of bacteriostatic water you added, and the dose you want. Molecule returns the number of units to draw on a U-100 insulin syringe, where 100 units is 1 mL.

If a result looks wrong, check the units first. Vial contents are in milligrams and doses are in micrograms, and 1 mg is 1000 mcg. That boundary is where almost every dosing error lives. Molecule warns when a dose falls far outside the range commonly reported for a compound, which usually means a unit or decimal mistake rather than a genuinely unusual dose.

Vial Shelf and Expiry

Each vial tracks its concentration, how many units remain, when it was reconstituted, and when it expires. Blends are supported for multi-compound vials. Expiry reminders require notification permission.

Reminders

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. If they are not arriving, check that notifications are enabled for Molecule in iOS Settings, that Focus or Do Not Disturb is not suppressing them, and that Low Power Mode is off. Notification delivery is controlled by iOS and can be delayed.

Sync Across Devices

Molecule works fully offline and does not require an account. If you sign in with Apple or Google, your vial shelf, dose log, and schedules sync to your private account so the same records appear on your other devices.

Progress photos never sync. They stay on the device that took them. There is no upload path, which means a photo does not move to a new phone and cannot be recovered if you delete the app. Export or save anything you want to keep before switching devices.

Exporting Your Data

Molecule can export your full dose log to CSV, which you can open in any spreadsheet app or send to a clinician.

Subscription Management

Subscriptions, trials, billing, refunds, and cancellation are handled through your Apple account. Open iOS Settings, tap your Apple Account, then tap Subscriptions.

Deleting your Molecule account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel through Apple to stop future renewal.

Restore Purchases

If you reinstalled Molecule or moved to a new device and Pro is not active, open the app and tap Restore purchases on the paywall or in settings.
